Mark Izatt is a global brand and communications consultant with over 25 years’ experience within the luxury spirits, technology, goods, and service sectors.
A strategic brand marketer who understands the importance of equipping a business with the insights, values and tactics which are understood from the boardroom to the customer, he has practiced his craft in companies such as Remy Cointreau, LVMH Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, Vertu and Hasselblad.
Commercially focused, he has planned, executed and been accountable for P&L at both a global and regional level. Mark thrives on delivering within multi-cultural and complex stakeholder environments. He spent 10 years based in New York City, working throughout the United States and Canada. Following his return to London, where he is now based, he has worked extensively with teams in London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Moscow, Dubai, Karachi, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In 2013 he founded Communicating Luxury with the goal of helping companies, large and small, start-up and heritage, ensuring their brands succeed.
Scottish born, Mark graduated BSc(Hons) Forestry from the University of Aberdeen, working in Forestry before progressing into UK politics, including a period as Special Adviser to The Secretary of State for Scotland, where he developed his passion for communication.
He is a trustee of Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health and chairs the Passenger Representative Group at London’s Heathrow Airport as well as being a Non-Executive Director of the Heathrow Community Engagement Board and The Oxford Artisan Distillery.
Mark is a contributing lecturer on the Digital Marketing, Advanced Master’s in Digital Business Strategy course at Grenoble Ecole de Management.
